Identification

Males and females have different aspects. The male has a green head, a narrow white collar on the neck and a yellow, uneven, uniform beak. The tail is short and ends with 2 or 3 feathers curled upwards. The female has a brown striped colour and irregular orange beak.

Excellent flying, it is an easily identifiable bird in flight, being relatively fast.
