Identification

Complete black plumage, which may show blue-green metallic reflections in certain areas of the body, namely in the adornment of the cock, back, tail and / or wings. Robust head, of medium size and length. Slightly curved neck well fitted with plumage. Trunk of medium width and length, cylindrical, slightly tilted back. Wings of medium size, length and width, well joined to the body and well feathered. Scaly tarsi of medium length, moderately thick with no feathers. Four fingers, straight, thin, of medium length.

Hens have a smaller size and correspondingly less weight.
